The honor/memorial is a standalone record which needs to be mapped in Importacular in the same way the main constituent. Importacular checks to see if the record exists in the Raiser’s Edge using criteria sets (specifically the Tribute set beginning in version 5.4).

The ‘this constituent is an honor/memorial tick box defaults to the checked position and cannot be unchecked.

If you have required fields for a new constituent (such as a constituent code or a constituent Attribute), you will need to create these on the constituent tab and link them to the constituent being added from the Tribute tab. You can also add contact information such as an address, email address or phone number. You can link to the constituent being created as an Honor/Memorial using the upper right hand corner of any of these mappings (as we ‘ve done in the same address mapping below).
