The ‘school name’ field is the only required one, the rest of the fields in this area can be mapped either to a field in your source or they can be given a default value.

Please note, if you have purchased the option to import Education Relationships, but do not have the Alumni module, you will not have access to the “Is Primary Alumni” field in Raiser’s Edge. If you do have the Alumni module and you wish to mark Education Relationships as Primary, you will change the default/neutral value from the neutral setting in the screenshot above to a ticked box (see this knowledgebase article for more information regarding the neutral value).
